New York City posted a general-election reminder October 19 directing registered voters to the upcoming voting schedule. Early voting runs from October 24 through November 1. Election Day is Tuesday, November 3.
The city Board of Elections lists early-voting hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on October 24, 25 and 26. Hours change later in the period: October 27 and 28 run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., while October 29 runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. October 30 through November 1 return to 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Election Day polling is scheduled for 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. The board publishes separate borough lists for early-voting and Election Day sites, so voters should check the appropriate list rather than assume the same location and hours apply throughout.
This notice concerns New York City’s election arrangements. It is regional coverage for New York editions, not a report that every municipality in the state uses the city’s polling locations or daily early-voting hours.
