NASA astronauts Jessica Meir and Jack Hathaway, European Space Agency astronaut Sophie Adenot and Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev undocked from the International Space Station at 8:05 a.m. Eastern on October 7. Their Dragon spacecraft left the space-facing port of the station’s Harmony module.

The departure begins an approximately 27-hour return sequence. NASA plans to resume full coverage at 10:20 a.m. Eastern on October 8, with splashdown targeted for about 11:34 a.m. off the California coast.

Crew-12 launched from Cape Canaveral on February 13 and reached the station the following day. Meir and Fedyaev were making their second spaceflights, while the mission was the first for Hathaway and Adenot.

Undocking is a completed milestone, while the deorbit, atmospheric entry and recovery remain scheduled operations dependent on flight and weather conditions. Crew-13 and other residents remain aboard the station to continue research and maintenance.
